CHHS Recevies $1.87 Million Grant for Research


Criminal Justice Department at CSULB has received a four-year, $1.87 million grant by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to study residential substance abuse care after release from prison.

The project is designed to study drug rehabilitation programs in prison and outside prison to see how each one works differently.

It will also study how treatment is carried out by interviewing participants of the drug rehabilitation programs.

The project is set to continue through 2011.
